About Me
Hi there! My name is Carrie Beth and my personal hoop journey began six years ago, after my first son was
born. Like most new moms, I wanted to shed the weight I gained during
pregnancy. A friend of mine suggested I try hula hooping! The tiny kid's
hoops were a bust so I found some tubing, fashioned it into a circle
and it worked great! It was so fun I did not even realize it was
exercise. Soon, I became involved in the hooping community
through going to festivals and watching videos of other people "hoop dancing"
to their favorite music. I was finding that as time was passing, I was
developing a connection with myself as the hoop connected with my body.
My tool for exercise was becoming a means for transformation, leading me
to have more self-confidence and be more outgoing. Having such a
positive experience, I am compelled to share my love for this simple
circle with others to change their life as well!.
